I am currently employed by an attorney in Michigan. I plan to resign before the end of the year, and I want to report my employer to the IRS for tax fraud. My employer pays at least 3 employees part of their salaries in cash (at least $1000 per week - maybe more), and has been doing so for years. We also receive a lot of cash payments from clients that he just pockets. My dilemma is this - I do not want to compromise my coworkers who are paid in cash, or myself for that matter. And, I don't necessarily want to identify myself. Would I be able to do this anonymously? Is this even a good idea, or should I just quit and walk away?

So did you declare all the cash income you received on your own tax return???

No. I did not - not yet.
