Please help!
I was wondering if I can be denied employment for this in South Carolina.
I was offered a job as a chemical operator. I quit my old job, because I couldn't imagine not being able to pass the physical and the hiring company wants me to start on Monday. I had my physical Thursday, 2 days ago, and went in today to find out that my TB test is positive. Is this going to be enough reason for the hiring company to deny me employment? Because I already quit my old job, and I will be in real trouble if this job falls through for this. The doctor who told me that my test is positive said that it probably means that I am just a carrier and not contagious, but I still am very concerned that I will be turned down for employment. Please help!
