Hi I am from Massachusetts where PIP is in effect. My understanding is that the first $2,000 goes through the car insurance and after that the bills go through my private health insurance. My question is: Is there $6,000 available to cover my lost wages from work, from the remaining PIP (is there a total of $8,000)? Any help would be most welcome.
