The company I am working for has started to downsize :( ,anyhow to make a long story short, the managers held a meeting one week ago and told all of us employees that they were going to cut back hours and give us off an extra day without pay. I work 6 days a week, 14 hours a day get payed 1300 a week (gross income), anyhow I worked my regular schedule the week before they announced the cutbacks and this paycheck I received was short abot 300 dollars and management said it started with this very paycheck but did not announce that at the meeting and we all worked the regular schedule before the cutback were to begin. I am a salaried truck driver and drive from Houston to dallas, forth worth area everyday. What my question is, is this company breaking any labor laws as how they are conducting their practices.

They are not breaking any labor laws by requiring you to take an extra day off without pay each week. But they are required to pay you for all the time you actually worked. You can file a complaint with your state DOL if you were not paid for any time you actually worked.
