So i was involved in a rear-end accident, and hit someone infront of me.
The lady who hit me admitted fault at the scene of the accident.
So we exchanged information, we decided not to call the cops because she wanted to pay for damages of her pocket, so i took my car to get an estimate, come to find out the damages cost more then the car so i mmediately called her insurance, and come to find out her insurance information wasnt real. O by the way i have no insurance myself.

So i havent filed a dmv report,but i am tomorrow, which is excatly 5 dmv business days after the accident, and i wanted to know if i could take the lady to small claims, so she could pay off what the car is worth. Or what other alternative do i have? :confused: :confused:

In the absence of a police report and both of you driving sorta illegally, sounds like your only option. But can you serve this person- is their address any good?
