I worked for employer in Fla for 9 yrs, 11 mos. I gave more than two weeks notice and left on good terms. My last employment date was September 17, 2005. I am owed approximately 60 hrs of pay. How long, by law, can they hold this check? Please advise. Thanks.

Unfortunately, Florida has no provision addressing when final pay is due. Standard practice when there is no law is the regularly scheduled pay check for the pay period in which the last day worked occurred. When you call and ask them, what do they say?
