I work for a non profit company,dealing wtih MR.DD....
I work in a group home facility, taking care of 5 clients.
i have been working there for 19 months with excellent attandence, never late, never called of,never sick, never missed a day of work.

a week ago i sent my manager an e mail about my concern about a co worker,a female who talks and says negative things about me and accuses me alot..
I gave alot of examples, when and how she would act like that. She is also the team leader.
This girl made the former team leader quit because of her and others, and left the group home for another facility.

In my e mail i told my manager how she is to me..and how she hates me and asked me many times if i plan to leave the company soon and aksing me questions about my new car and if i would lose my job if i still would be able to make payments....
Cussing me out...etc

Anyway, after i sent my e mail,my manager and the program director made an investigation, questioning me, her and other co workers about us...

This friday, they called me into the office and told me what decision they made....

they decided, that they believed we both were wrong, and no one was more right or less right as far our relationship goes at work.

But they made the decison, that we 2 could not be allowed to work together anymore and to have Me removed from the group home and have me transfered to a new position.
I was against it and could not understand why they would wanna remove me and not her. They gave me indirect reasons such as "she is the team leader, and remiving her would decrease her hourly wage" etc..I amnot even sure if that argument or point is valid.
Considering I am the one bringing this issue you up,....I by the way work with women alone...i am the only man.

The manager is a woman and the program director is a woman who made that decision and even my supervisor is woman.

Now here is my question,is there anything i could do about it legally???
Cause i feel like i am being treated unfairly and they stick wiht that girk...and in my e mail to my manager about this girl,i told her "she wants to get rid of me" and having them now remove me from the group home,is like doing what this girl wanted.

But they were trying to tell me having a new position would be the best for me and i would like it more etc etc....and now, they do not even have that new position for me secure, and they do not let me work at the group home.I am actually sitting home and waiting...and they are still paying me like i ws working. What sence does that make???
what should i do????

ps: i am also or was at that group home facility the only man and also the only non U.S. CITIZEN...i am originally from Europe. In case that matters

Unless you could prove that the action was taken solely because of your gender or national origin, there is no legal recourse you can take. You brought your concern to management and they made a decision on how to deal with it. It is not uncommon to transfer the person making the complaint, especially if no one else is having the same problems with this supervisor. While you are sitting at home AND getting paid for it, why don't you go look for another job if you don't like how they handled this? Seriously, I don't see any violations based on what you have posted.

U know,the problem is this...
They know she was not acting like a team leader, they say in their decision they made "we were both at fault" they do not say I was a bit more in fault or not...they made it clear its equal. And they even say "since we both have a great ork history and are good workers, they can not let us work toegther anymore since its been poisioned.

In my e mail to my manager about this girl, i talk about how this girl was to me in the first week i started working there, telling me "u can not trust anyone here,u have to watch your back" giving me a scary thought about my new job...I complaint back then, why she would say that...

3 months later I got hired the current team laeder back then, cried onfront of me,a 46 yera old woman cried to me,telling me how this girl and her friends are to her at work...this girl hated that team laeder....so the team leader back then could not take it anymore and left,to go somewhere else.

Thats also a point i said in my e mail to my manager saying "this girl made a co worker leave before" I also so said she has a record of accusing other staff and what not...."
And I also mentioned how this girl can't stand me and wants to get rid of me.
I just don't understand why they would remove me,if i am such a good worker. And after they got my e mail....they actually did what this girl wanted.Thats what I was telling them "you now do what she wanted, and she'll be happy you remove me" Thats why i think the decision was not based fairly and equally....

Now only did they make decision to remove me,they already knew where to put me in and saying thats the best for me and i would actually love it etc
But they also said, until that job is ready for you,you have to wait, and still get paid as if you were working.
But eher is the thing now,I am at home, waiting right, for them to have the position ready for me.Would the be able legally to fire me in this situation????

And they other thing is,they called me yesterday telling me something about the new job they did not know themself oh forgot to tell me about it if thats okay with me First they say "in that new position, you would have to drive your own car to bring the client to their appointments etc and if that would be okay with me?" I had no problem with that...But then the 2nd thing was,
They told me that I would have to have full coverage on my car with $100.000 / $300.000.Which I do not have,I have full coverage but not those numbers....

So they were like "check with your insurance, and if you do not have it,we have to look for something else" to me it looks like they r playing dirty with me,having me in a situation like this.....

I'm not wading through that novel. But I did scan it and I STILL don't see anything illegal going on.
