I have been working as an office manager with my company for approx. 6 mos now. I have been under an extreme amount of stress which has been brought on both from my work environment and of course some personal issues. I am to the point now that my doctor has taken me off work for 1 week. I am feeling more stressed now becasue I have lsot a weeks worth of pay and I still feel as though I am not ready to go back to work. Is there a way that I can have more time off work and yet get some type of payment wj=hether it is from my company or state disability or workers comp? I have heard of other poeple that have taken a leave of abscence and have received compensation from somewhere. What can I do. I do not want to go into financial ruins,this stresses me out also.
