I worked in a factory sewing sleeping bags. I hired on as part-time in order to go in at 8:00 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m. Because of my children. I was on production, made well over production. Worked until 5:30 alot. But was still considered part-time although I got overtime alot. My question is can they legally take my maching away from me give it to a "full=time" employee and move me to the back where it is hot and the machines aren't that good just because I'm part-time?

First of all, your employer defines who is part-time or full-time.

Second, they can reassign you to another part of the shop, because of your part-time status. This is assuming that they are not singling you out because of illegal discrimination.
