My friend[female on medication for diagnosed depression] went to jail for attacking her boyfriend. It was just a argument that got a little out of hand {noisy} and the neighbors called the police. He did not file charges, but the state of Texas did for assault fam. violence. He wants to either have charges dropped, or look into a diversionary aggreement for her. Can anyone help me with this, my friend is upset about this and need help.

You need to consult and hire an attorney locally who can advise and attempt to get a diversion agreement.
