I was told that in the state of Illinois that I may be entiled to 9/10th of my next years vacation after I leave a company. Is that true. I did not accure any vacation time the first year that I worked for the company. Is that true or not?

Also with sick time. I will be leaving the company within the next week and are they required to pay my sick time/personal time?

No state requires payout of sick/personal time upon termination.

Regarding your vacation, is it that you cannot TAKE it until you have been there a certain period of time or that you don't even start ACCRUING until you have been there a certain period of time? Need more details; like what your hire date was and what the policy states.
