Here we are yet another court date and I find that the States Attorney in Illinois has not filed the motion to compel like they said there were to do before the next hearing on the 24th, So I called the OAG here that is who I filed with , Can the state that I am in request this income information from the Ex's employer? That is the only thing that is lacking here He wont turn in his income information and therefore delay after delay and this will make the 7th set hearing for a just a simple modification... In the state of Illinois it is not a share model for CS and therefore the only discovery his attorney needs to do is find out what his income is right? This has gone on since April time and time again with the " I didnt get my discovery done crap leading to yet another delay and another court date I just dont know what I can do at this point there are so many other cases out there that could be heard instead of mine taking up so much time when it should merely be pretty black and white, I really just needed to vent and to ask Can this state try to find out what he makes? And then present it to the other state and deman they do something about this?

It is state government- overworked, underpaid and backlogued. If you want it done faster, you need to do it yourself or hire a private attorney.

State help is always slow and often lazy. Prime example...me...I had an interstate case and ending up not only filing my on 17 page appeal (so proud of me) ...but getting in contact with the other state to stay aware of court dates. If you can afford private investigators go for it to get the income.
