I was wondering, if someone takes a voluntary layoff, will they still be eligible to receive unemployment??? (this is in North Carolina)

No way we can tell for sure, although it is unlikely, since the eligibility for receiving benefits is that the claimants must have become unemployed through no fault of their own.
