I work as an IT contractor and currently get paid by agency on a w-2 with txes deducted. I typically work and additional 45-50+ hours aweek and get paid a straight hourly rate. But I noticed that on my pay stub they are separating the OT hours and I suspect taxing it at the higher rate. I have never had this happen before as a contractor. Its usually treated as straight hourly pay and all taxed the same - did the law change recently? Thanks.
