View Full Version : Can an employer pay non-exempt parttime employee by the month?

I work as an intern part time for a private practice supervisor. Not only do we have a 60/40 split in her favor, she pays only monthly. A friend advised that that may not be legal. Any ideas? :cool:

Nonexempt employees in California must be paid no less frequently than semi-monthly:
