I was being harrassed by an employee I work with at my job and home. My boss told me to do what I had to, to take care of the problem. I filed a restraining order against this person and now I am paying for it. I was told that I will recieve little or no hours because of this conflict. I have been employed with this company for over 2 years. He has only been employed for 9 months. I am 6 months pregnant and I would leave the job if I could. Should I let them get away with this and if not what do I do?

I don't know the nature of the harassment but you may have a criminal action against him. Have you talked with the police?
If your employer is not assisting you because you are pregnant, then it could be illegal discrimination. However, since this has been going on for awhile, that doesn't sound to be the case.
You may wish to put your concerns to your employer in writing. That will often get the employer's attention more than a verbal complaint.

My dispute is not that I am pregnant it is that I am being discriminated against because i filed a restraining order. I knew filing this order could result in consiquences but I did not know I would be the only one to have hours cut. I have call into a employment lawyer who I hope can help me. They want me to walk away but i am ready to fight. Please help

Unfortunately, there isn't any law that I am aware of that will protect a person from retaliation on the basis that they filed a restraining order. I wish I could help you. Good luck.
