I work for a car dealership as a Internet salesman. The first month i worked i sold 15 cars and got paid all my money. The second month i sold 25 cars and suddenly they took out $2,800 dollars of my commission. When i approached them on this they said it was to pay for the Internet sales managers guarantee. I was never told of this and now they take out 20%. When i was hired i recieved a pay plan and this 20% was never on it. Can i legally recoup the money they stole from me?

So they reduce your compensation in order to pay someone else? Nice.

Yes, your employer may legally reduce your pay. The only legal issue is whether your State's wage and hour laws require that you be notified in advance. You can give your State's Department of Labor a call and see what they say.
