i was wondering if they could lay me off or tell me to give them a call in a 11 days to see if they need me.which happened all because the night before i was driving a truck for the company which started at 5 am and ended at 11 pm this was added on to a 89 hrs check for a 8 day period so it brought it up to 107 hrs in 9 days and i called them that night to let them know i will not be in for i need some rest and recently i found out the another employee had got into an accident due to lack of sleep and thats what i was trying to avoid.they told me to call them monday to see if i still have my job or not

This has nothing to do with OSHA as far as I can see but it's possible there could be a DOT (Department of Transportation) violation depending upon what kind of truck you were driving.

What is your job? Do you have a CDL?

Bears, I'm surprised at you. You've been around here long enough to know better than to re-open a post that's been dormant for over a month.
