Please help! Is there time period you must be off between shifts required by law in West Virginia? I cannot find anything anywhere and have heard statements that you must have 8 hours. Thanks for any information that can be provided.

I couldn't find any law either. Much of what you hear is no more than wishful thinking. When people tell me "I heard" and I can't find anything, I ask them to provide a link to the law; they usually can't.

You can call the state Dept. of Labor to confirm, though.

Usually when you can't find the law someone told you exists, it means it doesn't actually exist.
