Is it legal for a company to move a first shift salary worker to 2nd /3rd shift because she was out sick for three days due to a relapse of a eating disorder?
When I was hired I was told that I would stay on first shift. I was the first employee in the department that I am in. My manager that was hired 3 months after me moved me to second shift he said due to my illness. I did not ask or want a accomadation for my illness. I was told that I move to the 2nd shift or I was going to lose my job.
This has made it hard for me to be on a scehdule for my medications as well as my eating routine that I have to follow.
I asked him to move me back to first shift and gave him the reason why. He told me no that he had who he wanted on first shift. The guy that he put in my place was hired for 2nd shift originally.
What Can I do? Need Help.

It's legal to move you to a different shift because you were absent for three days. Addressing the eating disorder is a bit more difficult but as you said you have not asked and do not want an accomodation of your condition, then yes, moving you to a different shift was very likely legal.
