I work for a trucking company in Indiana. Their home base is in Illinois.
My problem is any overtime I work they do not pay time and half for and
I'm not sure if they are required to do so or not.
As I said they are a trucking company that hauls grain. My job is that
of a pressure tank washer. I pressure wash the semis and railcars. They
often call me to work on the weekends and over my 8hr shift.
I make approximately $15 an hour and they apparently don't feel as they
are required to pay time and half.
I would appreciate any responses.

Thank you.

Being as you are not a driver, and you are doing manual labor, I cannot see any circumstances under which they would not be required to pay overtime when you work in excess of 40 hours in a workweek.

Contact the Indiana Dept. of Labor to file a claim for unpaid overtime.
