Thanks to the few of you that responded to my post below about my messy situation with my ex-boyfriend who is terminating his rights tomorrow (keeping my fingers crossed it all works out). My lawyer is ONE OF THE BEST there is up here and she has done AMAZING work since taking over my case 2 months ago. After much research, she has drawn up paperwork for my father to be co-guardian with myself. The child rep on the case has drawn up the paperwork for him to sign to terminate his rights tomorrow. They are pretty hopeful that things will go well....keeping my fingers crossed. I will be sure and let you know how it goes tomorrow.
