I am a massachusetts employee working for a massachusetts employer. I gave my Two weeks notice today. In the industry I am in, it is common practice not to work the notice period. After giving my notice it ended up being my last day....do I have any recourse to get the two weeks worth of pay based on me giving them 2 weeks notice?

No, you do not. The employer decided to accept your resignation immediately. There is no law that requires them to pay out your notice period.
