Are employers in Georgia allowed to fire an employee for going to and doctors appointment. They tell us to schedule all apoinments after work, but that is very hard to do. Is there a law saying that the employee can take time to go to a medical appoinment?

Unless it was previously agreed to as a reasonable accomodation under the ADA, is required by bona fide contract or protected by FMLA, there is no Federal law and no law in Georgia that requires an employer to allow you time off for a doctor's appointment.
