i live in colorado, my employeer is out of california. i was placed on bed rest 1 month before my due date, due to complications of my pregnancy. my employer required me to use my 220 hours of accrued vacation time before going on unpaid leave. my employer is telling me that i now must return to work 8 weeks after delivery, because i have already expended 4 weeks of 12 week leave of fmla prior to delivery. My doctor has cleared me for 6-12 weeks postpartum. can they deny me my 12 weeks postpartum leave because i was removed from work 4 weeks prior to delivery? :confused: :mad:
