I need some help with overtime laws in Indiana. Where I work we don't get paid our overtime. They will take our overtime everyweek and save it. Then when we miss a day. Then they will take that time and make our checks for 40 hours. Is that right? Can they just save our overtime? I does not seem fair. I work for that time. Why should I have to miss work just to get it.

If you are in a non-exempt (hourly paid) position, then what your employer is doing is illegal. You must be paid for your OT during the pay period in which you worked it. Contact Indiana's Department of Labor and file a complaint.
