I was terminated with 134 hours of paid time off remaining. Will I have to fight my employer to receive this money? I am in Florida.

Florida law does not require payment of accrued PTO at termination. Use-it-or-lose it policies are not prohibited in Florida. Looks like you're SOL.

It's not that there is a law saying an employer doesn't have to pay out vacation time; it's that there ISN'T a law saying that they must.
