So what this means , I work overtime due managment telling me to but I dont get paid for it. I can work 86 hours for two weeks and get paid for 80. I get paid hourly and I;m getting robbed of six overtime hours.

Are you a public employee (paid by tax dollars - work for the Feds, the state, or a local municipality) or are you a private employee (work for anyone else)?

No, I work for a small business. Is there any form I can take In with me to show them that I'm not being treated fair?

No, but you can politely point out to the employer that under the law, a non-exempt employee MUST be paid overtime for every hour over 40 in a week that he works. I don't have the exact site right now, but Patty might when she comes by.

And if your employer pays no attention and continues to require you to work overtime without paying for it, you can file a complaint with the DOL for unpaid overtime.

Thanks for your help and time. I'm glad to know there are still good people in this world.
