I fell at work abt a yr ago - was reported as a safety hazard- on file with Kelly Services & Kraft Foods - continuing to have back & ankle problems - didn't think it was a serious injury at the time ( maybe I had a hairline fracture & didn't know it at the time??? had some left leg pain & back pain at the time) - now fell at home on same leg/ankle I previously injured - & broke ankle (have 7 screws & plate in ankle) other ankle seriously sprained- seems to be a weakness in left side - in wheel chair for 6-8 wks or more - can't work - also concerned about long term problems. Any recourse? :(
FYI - also needed hospital bed due to inability to climb stairs to bedroom, wheelchair & walker & in home physical therapy. I am not one to complain or try to obtain benefits/damages, but concerned about any future disabilities( even minor) or inability to work.

Sounds like you should be applying for disability, but it is unclear if you reported this to the employer and entered into the disability and injury assessment process where you should have been sent to a physician or been able to go to your physician with the injury being diagnosed and a treatment plan developed. My suggestion is to seek consultation with an attorney. It is also unclear whether Kelly, the temp employer, or the place you were working, would be the responsible party for your disability and injury. A local attorney can help you determine which party to file claims with and if it is still possible to do so, and if you should be also pursuing social security disability for the short term.
