In Ohio, what constitutes a 40 hour week. I have been placed on a rotating shift the first being Monday through Sunday day turns and night turn
that begins on Thursday through the following Wednesday (7 consecutive
days, 84 hours worked) does this constitute a work week and am I entitled to overtime for the time in excess of the 40 hours.

Hours and the resulting overtime are based on the work week, which is defined by the employer as 7 consecutive days, for example, Monday from 12:01 a.m. through Sunday at midnight. Ask your employer what the work week is; it is not necessarily your work schedule.
