Hi
I live and work in New Jersey. If someone is considered part of management and is paid a salary, but still fill out a timecard each pay period, would that person be required overtime? When the timecard is filled out, it shows only five days worked per week even if it is more. In the past year, I have worked 6 days approx. 40 of the 52 weeks. I have also worked an average of 60 hours per week. If I work a holiday, I am not compensated except for the normal holiday pay that I receive anyway. I am told that I am part of management and overtime does not apply. I don;t feel right about it, but I also can't afford to lose my job. Does it sound like I have a case? If so this has been going on for about 10 years.
Thanks
