I work in Illinois. I was hurt at work in 2002 in a car accident. My lawer at the time told me to settle. So we did.
This past year was injured at work again and was told to go back to work at light duty. My work took me back but after 6 month said I needed to go home till my back got better and an IME could be done.
They want me to do "Family medical leave act" why?
Should I?
W/C has stopped my benefits.
I had the IME that they wanted and now they are tring to use against me because of a preexisiting condition that became experated by the new injury. Do I go on perment disabillity?
Do I go back to work?
I very confused and I am running out of time. Can anyone help me save my job of 15 years?
With this FMLA do i lose my position but still work for the company?
