As a salaried employee does the company have the right to force excessive hours worked for extended periods of time.
Example: 10 hour plus days, 7 days a week, for 10 weeks.

I understand because the position is salaried that no additional compensation has to be provided by the company, although unfair, compensation is not the issue.

I am looking for guidelines for hours worked, are there any limits?

If health related issues arise from the additional stress is the company libel?

If by "salaried" you mean "exempt" ("salaried" is simply a pay method-there can be such a thing as salaried nonexempt), then there is no legal restriction in Florida about how many hours you may be required to work. Some states have "one day rest in seven" regulations (even so, it has been questioned in a few of those states whether that also applies to exempt employees), but your state is not one of them.
