Is it a legal requirement that employers in Massachusetts provide payslips to employees each pay period if they are under a direct deposit system?

I know working for the commonwealth that we get stubs after every direct deposit, i would assume, as the state goes so goes the law

Doesn't make any difference whether you are paid by negotiable check or by direct deposit.
