I wanted to see if anyone else has taken or heard of this being against the law. Earlier this year my company had all the sales people take an Antitrust test on line and on our company computers. It went through situations that we may encounter while out in the field like; a lot of common sense type things but some that really made you think. The one i need to know about is this company only sent, say a black rep into black owned shops to get there business when they would only give a small part to the white sales rep calling on the account. He had other accounts to call on also with white owners but when they had or wanted the business of a large black run and owned location they would asks him go in and build sales .While keeping the white rep on the account to get the profits from it.Sales went from say $1000.00 to over $900,000 On this account in 5 months, the commission would be split 75/25 for the white rep getting 75% of profit. In this Antitrust test this was one of the things i think i remember they saying that this could not happen. I wish i could remember the exactly, But i know i was just put in the same situation. Is it breaking some Antitrust Laws?

I don't see anything in this scenario that remotely has to do with Antitrust laws.

I know what antitrust means but why would it be included into a survey for our employees under the heading of Antitrust a test that we all had to take and pass the test would let you fail it would let you go to the next question until you pick the right answer. The test itself was multiple choice and true or false answers . Maybe the example that i mentioned was in the test for another reason but the test was did say that you could not do it. Why?

I have no idea. Perhaps labeling the test "Antitrust" was a misnomer. Sounds like at least some questions were included that fall in the category of workplace ethics or discrimination.

Thank you, i feel it's discrimination when they don't think you're good enough to be given anything else to call on.
