My husband is an auto tech at at a local car dealership (Colorado). His employer has just made a new policy that the techs will not get paid for a job until the customer has paid the dealership. Is this legal? Thanks.

Thanks. cbg 08-16-2005, 12:37 PM In the normal scheme of things I'd say no, it was not legal, but just recently someone who is in a position to know told me that there are some kind of funky laws with regards to auto techs. She didn't go into detail. So I guess the best answer I can give you is probably not, but check with your state DOL to be certain. |
