Please help, I work for a cabinet shop in Mississippi that allows 2 15 minute breaks and 45 minutes for lunch. The way the shift goes is this 700am to 1115 am then 1200pm to 345pm monday - thursday 700am to 1115am then 1200pm to 330pm on friday the employees lose 30minutes a week. Keep in mind that the breaks are free to the employees they do not have to clock out. What happens is this the employees only get 39.5 a week the way the time system is set up. The question is this "Is this illegal"? The employees seem to think that it is, please help.
