i was wondering if it is legal to not allow breaks for restaurant employees in MT. i work at an outback steakhouse & they said they aren't required to give us breaks, reguardless of how long our shifts are. i worked for 13 hours straight yesterday, standing the whole time, and i never got 1 break. i just hope that it isn't legal, i hope they're forced to give us breaks. i know other people who work at other restaurants in this town and they get breaks, even fast food workers get breaks. any help would be appreciated, thanx in advance.

In Montana it is entirely up to the employer whether or not to offer breaks and if so, how often and how long the breaks are.
