People here are seeming to forget one important thing here this man is
wanting to place a child who is 2 that will have memories of this
someday and start to question himself........ Question about his
existence his self esteem.. Instead of Attacking why not try to help
educated the man to everything so that when he does find placement that
he can give the prospective adopters information so that when he does
get older he will have the support he may need......
You're so right, Tina! Children age 2 DO have memories of the natural
parents and anyone considering placing a 2 year old child for adoption
needs to realize that fact.
However, our relationships with our children did not end with their
birth. We are still the parents of our children, even if they were taken
by the industry and given to others to raise.
And that's what most adoptive parents find so hard to believe. Natural
parents cannot do as society suggests and just 'move on' - pretending
that the child we lost to adoption never existed.
