:mad: :was just informed 08/12/05 that i have to go to court on 08/16**went to court on 08/03/05***ex did not show up judge issued warrant, warrant was never served by case worker**ex has not paided since dec 14 2004, he called the case worker (after I have called her twice a day for 2 weeks to see why the warrant was not active) but he has talked to her and told her that he forgot the court date, was watching my child now and he wants me to pay which is all lies. So the case worker has set up a case against me AGAINST ME they I thought worked for me. I usually have to wait 2 months for a court date and he schedules one in a week, so here we have it ... he owes me over 3000.00 did not show up for court was issued warrrant by judge , which is not active per case worker, and now i am the quilty one, WHAT CAN I DO, i can not get a lawyer, exspecially on such short notice, she has not called me to tell me of the court date, i had to call a 1-800 # and they told me per her notes . The case worker is on his side and suppose to be on mine, we go to court and he is ordered to pay me more money for arrears and he never does, then go back and he doesnt even show up. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to DCF and talk with the caseworker with her supervisor present and explain that the father is lying and the caseworker was taken in, and demand that they advocate for the child and not for a lying father. If the child is with you, then this should clear this up fast. You need to go there and find out what was said against you asap before court so you know how to defend yourself.
