I'm 17 years old, I work at a retail store in Kentucky, and I never get breaks. I know that my job isn't hard, but under Kentucky Child Labor Laws it says that anyone under the age of 18 working 5 or more hours must get one 30 minute break. Well I don't. I'm just wondering whether or not I should report my boss.

Have you asked to be scheduled for a lunch break? It is usually best to make a request of your manager first. If your request is refused OR if you are concerned about asking your manager, then you should go the state and file a complaint.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
