Hello,
I am an active duty member in the United States Navy. My wife, a civilian, recently had a child, C-Section due to complications during labor. After the operation the Navy doctors let us know that she was in a reduced physical status and couldn't drive for four weeks. My command told me that they were going to give me 14 days of baby leave, but are now trying to call me back in after 9 days.
I have a few questions;
1. Does the FLMA cover active duty military personel?
2. If so, what can I do to make sure that I'm home to take care of my wife and child.
3. If not, are there any laws that protect us?
Very Respectfully,
Bradley535
