I BELIEVE THIS IS IN ANY STATE IF YOU HAVE A MISDEMEANOR WARRENT IT WILL NEVER GO AWAY YOUR RIGHT YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TURN YOURSELF IN AND ITS BETTER FOR YOU TO DO IT INSTEAD OF THEM COMEING AND GETTING YOU INFRONT OF FAMILY OR FRIENDS. BELIEVE THAThttp://www.laborlawtalk.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Crimes have statute of limitations for prosecution. If you skip on a warrant, the argument is that the defendant delayed the process and the delay would be charged to you until the statute of limitations for the crime of arrest has passed, but again it depends on where you were at in the process. I suggest consulting with a local criminal attorney because misdemeanor is too broad of a category to give you a certain statute of limitations since it is based more on the crime itself that you are being charged with and not whether it it s misdemeanor or felony.
