If so that is not the same as Joint Custody. JLC gives you only the right to make limited decisions in the childs life. ex: medical and educational

I know that I have joint legal due to the fact that it says that and i have access to medical etc.. the part that i am confused about is that it says that the children will reside with the mother yet custody will be joint then if you continue to read the papers it says that she has sole custody.
