My job in Missouri is forcing us into working OT which i have found out to be legal. The question is now they are making the team we are on work OT if say for instance Joe misses a day of work which he was scheduled 6 hours. Joe gets an occurence for the missed day and everyone on Joe's team is forced to make up his hours on top of the already forced OT. Is this legal?

Yes, your employer can mandate that you work overtime, so long as the action is not being taken against a specific person or persons for discriminatory reasons, such as age, disability, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion or gender.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes...the theory is that peer pressure will encourage people to come to work as scheduled.
