Hi
I am holding F-1 visa status. and I am attending community college
right now. Unfortunately, my parents don't have enough money for me to
go to the university. So, I plan to attend in ESL school. Actually, I
pretend to go to school, but I will work illegally. So my question is
1/ How long can I study in the ESL program? And how many class I have
to take in order to stay in status?
2/ Do you know do they have any ESL school that give you a I-20 but
you never have to go to school? (I prefer in Virginia)
3/ Can you tell me how can I find a job illegally
Thank you very much
God Bless America

If you are planning to work illegally, it just plain does not matter. The
problem is that the school is required by law to report you if you miss
too many classes without a good reason.
If the reason your parents don't have enough money is some unforeseen
emergency, talk to your international student advisor. It is possible to
get work authorization based on hardship and do what you plan to do
entirely within the law!

Thank you for response to me
But I try to attend class as regular as possible. When I study in my
community college, most of my class does not take the attendance. So
maybe, in the ESL class, the teacher will don't care about student.
They just go to class and teach.
By the way, can u tell me the minimum cost of esl class for 1
semester.
Thank you very much

You really need to discuss this with the international student advisor.

No, I have absolutely no idea. Ask the school that you are planning to
attend.
