I have an L-1A petition (fourth and final renewal) at Vermont with a
receipt date of 6/5/03. The July 1 report for Vermont said they were
then processing L-1s with a receipt date of 6/4/03. We're now two
weeks later and still no movement on the BCIS Online Status Check.
How much longer do they normally take to process? Previous
applications have gotten through the system in 5-10 days.

First, the processing date means that on July 1, they put cases dated
through 6/5 onto an adjudicator's desk. It usually sits there for another
30 days. So you should certainly not expect anything before about August
1.

Second, this report does not mean that ALL cases dated through 6/5 were
put onto an adjudicator's desk. Rather, it is an educated guess: "we think
that we may have worked on most cases through more or less 6/5. Maybe. If
you are lucky and we didn't guess wrong."
