my wife just recently filed for divorce and she want joint primary care for my kids, well i dont want that i dont think that would be best for my kids reason being is that since they were born i spent all my time with them we do everything together and that part of the reason why she wants a divorce but for the most part my oldest daughter is scared of her. Since she was 5 years old the hates for me to leave her alone with her mother she afraid of her because iI'm not there to protect her from hitting her or verbally abusing her she's scared and now that we are getting a divorce she want to be with me and tells me things as if she will run away if she cant be with me I dont want to turn my back on her I dont want her to hate her mother but her mother brought this upon herself \\\\she is 9 years old now and the youngest is 5
what should i do ??

Get an attorney and pursue primary physical custody of the kids.
