i pay for child support for my son and also pay for the arrears. just want to know if the state of nevada is a zero state if you want to leave the country for vacation. i was trying to get a pass port and they sent me a letter saying that i couldnt get a pass port due to the arrears. i have been paying for child support plus the arrears. now the child support agency is stopping me from leaving the country. i was planning to go on vacation to el salvador. please let me know any info if anyone knows the state laws and regulations for the state of nevada. thank you marilyn

I must say that is a new one but it is possible. States can restrict driving and professional licenses and other privileges based on child support statuts. If you believe you owe no arrearage, then you should take them to court on a motion to show cause to challenge the amount listed as the arrearage and its calculation.
