I just nine months ago purchased 5% of the company i work for in Michigan.
Im paid salary by the year. As of tommorrow im owed 2 paychecks (4 weeks) and were suppossed to be paid every other week. I dont mind that the check is late however i was just told today i would only receive 1 check for the previous 2 weeks and not the check that was owed before that, Thus losing payment for
2 weeks.
There has also been earlier this year another time i didnt receive a paycheck
for 2 weeks worth of work. At the time i figuered the company needed it more than i did and i had just got my tax's back so i didnt persue it.
Is this right ?

Thanks in advance

Almost certainly not. You can file a complaint with the state DOL.

I just did some checking and at the time when we set it up
the company was set up as "something, company" doing business
as "something else".
The company was set up as them owning 95% and myself owning
5%.
Does your answer to the previous question still ring true or the way its
setup change that ?
I was told saturday that i could have 1 check today and the other later this week and of course when i asked for the check today i got the look and the head nod along with its coming very soon.

Thanks Again

No, the law regarding paychecks is not affected by the corporate status of the company. Nothing you have posted changes my answer.
